What is Remedial Massage?
Remedial massage is a technique that targets the tendons and muscles through pressure to ease muscle tension, pain and reduce symptoms. If you have a specific problem, then your massage therapist applies a range of techniques to restore the soft tissues back to functioning condition.
How often should I have Remedial Massage?
The frequency at which you have a remedial massage largely depends upon your lifestyle. If you are particularly active, you may need a massage once every 1 to 3 weeks. However, if your lifestyle is more sedentary and you have an office job, then you may only need a massage every 4 to 8 weeks. However, your Remedial Massage Therapist will recommend the frequency depending on each individual.
What conditions can Physiotherapy treat?
Physiotherapy is used to treat a wide range of conditions. Most people seek physiotherapy to treat pain in the back, neck and shoulders, or to restore mobility following an accident. What is Sports Physiotherapy?
Sports physiotherapy is a specialised form of physiotherapy that treats injuries caused during sport activities. This is due to a high level of stress being placed on your joints and muscles that can cause pain and reduced mobility. Sports physiotherapy is designed to have you always performing at your peak and improve any movement disorders.
How often should I come for Physiotherapy?
This will vary between individuals and their condition but the Physiotherapist will recommend the frequency in the initial treatment.
