What is NormaTec?
NormaTec is a compression system which is used by elite athletes, coaches and trainers for rapid recovery and rehab pre-, post and between training and games. Our NormaTec Pulse Recovery Boots use NormaTec’s patented Pulse technology to provide air compression to the legs leading to enhanced fluid mobilisation and accelerated recovery.

NormaTec Pulse works by providing patent pulse technology in zones moving upwards from the extremities to massage.
The system uses three massage techniques:
- Pulsing: This dynamic compression mimics the natural muscle pump in the legs to improve the mobilisation of fluid out of the limbs.
- Gradients: Gradient static pressure to keep fluid moving in the right direction and prevent backflow.
- Distal Release: Release of the static pressure sequentially in each zone as soon as it is no longer needed to allow circulation to return.
